Festival of Lights
The 28th Annual Festival of Lights will take place in Downtown Greensboro on Friday, December 2 from 6-9pm. There will be a variety of sights, attractions, and performers to enjoy throughout the six blocks of Downtown Greensboro that are blocked off for this family-friendly event. There will a lighting of the community tree in Center City Park, carolers, acoustic performances, a photo booth, the Polar Express, Santa, and more!
 
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
The Community Theatre of Greensboro will be hosting performances of the classic comedy “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.” Based on a best-selling book for young adults, this Christmas classic tells the hilarious story of a couple who is struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant with some pretty awful kids. The Nutcracker
The Greensboro Ballet will once again present “The Nutcracker” for guests of all ages to enjoy. This holiday classic tells of a magical adventure that involves swirling snowflakes, dolls that come to life, giant mice, sweets from around the world, and more. There is even a special “Tea with Clara” event offered before a few of the performances, which has been a real treat for the little ones in years past. There are only four showings of this classic show, so be sure to get your tickets before they sell out.
 
Piedmont Triad Jazz Orchestra: Holiday Concert
The 3rd Annual Holiday Concert from the Piedmont Tried Jazz Orchestra will take place on Sunday, December 11 at 3pm. Holiday favorites will be performed with a big band twist, so you know it’s going to be a fun time! Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors, students, and military. Get your tickets today.
